Hi, I am Dr. Sheela Joshi, a licensed psychologist licensed in Texas and Florida. My passion is helping adults and couples find calm and clarity during life’s inevitable ups and downs. Whether you’re facing anxiety, adjusting to a new phase of life, or managing stress that feels overwhelming, I can provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and move toward balance. My therapeutic approach blends evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Mindfulness-Based techniques with a warm, collaborative style. Together, we’ll identify what’s getting in the way, build practical coping skills, and help you reconnect with what truly matters to you. Before joining VCS, I worked extensively within the Veterans Affairs Healthcare System specializing in trauma and stress-related disorders. My experience at Nova Southeastern University, where I earned both my Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology and M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy, included specialized training in mood/anxiety management, couple therapy, psychological testing, and other services. My training also taught me to view mental health through both an individual and relational lens. Ultimately, my goal is to help you feel heard, empowered, and capable of navigating whatever life throws your way—with purpose and for purpose. You can learn more about me by going to www.vcstherapy.com Note: I am part of a team of psychologists that offer high-quality care to our clients (www.vcstherapy.com). The clinical director, Dr. Justin Litvin, will respond to all messages to coordinate the intake.
