As a licensed Marriage and Family therapist, I believe that to begin healing, you must first acknowledge the trauma. Therapy is a great first step to letting go of the past while honoring the impact it has on the present and future. I specialize in working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma. I take a collaborative and client-centered approach to therapy. My approach I believe clients are the experts on their own lives. I use Solution-focused and Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT). This approach allows clients to be in control of their progress by learning and implementing various tools. My goal is to support you as you begin your healing journey. My focus I work with all walks of life who have or are currently experiencing anxiety, depression, or traumatic life events. As you continue to navigate through life, I will help you develop coping skills while overcoming the past to empower you. My communication style I believe that without challenges, there can be no change. I will listen without judgment, ask questions with genuine curiosity, and present opportunities for self-reflection. Transparency is key to communicating. I welcome authenticity and will sit and support you while you work through challenging topics. My journey to mental healthcare My journey as a therapist began with a passion for helping others. Through my training, I had an opportunity to work with children, couples, and families. This experience showed me the importance of working with the family and support system, not just the individual. Seeing the healing that clients and their loved one's experience is the most rewarding part of the work.
