Introduction

Hi there, I'm Talia Banayan. I achieved my doctorate in clinical psychology with high-end training across focus areas such as trauma psychology, health psychology, and infant/child developmental psychology. I trained to receive a wide range of tools in evidence-based approaches so that I can customize your treatment to your specific needs. We are dynamic humans with beautiful intersections that cultivate our wellbeing. For true change, I believe all components of our life need to be addressed to sustain our greatest growth. While I've been trained in evidence-based modalities such as psychodynamic therapy, CBT, DBT, prolonged exposure, somatic-based therapies, child-parent psychotherapy, and more; what clients truly feel from me is my approach from an emotion focused and attachment perspective. This means that what you will feel is a warm, emotionally grounded space, where we explore and understand the culture you grew up with while I am integrating the scientific theory behind the scenes to make sure you are getting support specifically cultivated to you.
