Hello, people usually come to therapy when something has shifted and what they’ve been doing no longer works. You might be under sustained stress, moving through a major transition, or adjusting to changes in your body, identity, or career. My role is to help make sense of what’s happening, look at what has helped you get through before, and figure out what would be most useful right now. I work with adults, including LGBTQ+ clients, BIPOC clients, people changing careers, and those adjusting to life after bariatric procedures. Many clients come in holding things together outwardly while feeling worn down, overwhelmed, or unsure about next steps. Early on, we focus on what matters to you, your strengths, and the realities of your life, so the work doesn’t feel generic or disconnected. My approach is structured, collaborative and DIRECT. We identify clear goals, notice what’s already helping—even in small ways—and build from there. Sessions are practical and focused, with attention to coping skills, decision-making, and forward movement. I take your experiences seriously and keep therapy grounded in what is realistic and workable for you. If you’re looking for thoughtful, caring, affirming support that respects where you are and helps you move forward, we can start there. Let's Go
