I’m Dr. Treye and the owner of Principles Counseling Group. I believe counseling should be a place where you can speak openly, feel understood, and work toward meaningful change without judgment. My approach is collaborative, practical, and individualized. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work with each client to better understand what is getting in the way, identify patterns that may no longer be working, and develop strategies that fit their goals and everyday life. I work with adults experiencing a variety of concerns, with particular interests in anxiety, OCD, ADHD, career and life transitions, identity development, relationship concerns, and personal growth. I also have extensive experience in assessment and enjoy helping clients better understand themselves when they have spent years wondering why certain areas of life have been more difficult than they seem to be for others. As both a counselor and counselor educator, I bring a combination of clinical experience, evidence-based practice, and genuine curiosity to my work. My goal is not simply to help you manage symptoms, but to help you develop a clearer understanding of yourself and create changes that are sustainable beyond the counseling room.
