Introduction

I’m Mitchlery Cardona Jimenez, a licensed clinical psychologist with over 8 years of experience working with survivors of various forms of violence, including sexual assault, gender-based violence, and those impacted by trauma indirectly, such as secondary victims. I understand how profoundly these experiences can affect your emotional, psychological, and physical well-being, and I’m here to support you through your healing journey. In my practice, I offer a trauma-informed, compassionate approach to help you process and recover from the lasting effects of trauma. Whether you’ve experienced sexual assault, domestic violence, or other forms of violence, or if you're a secondary victim such as a family member or loved one, I’m committed to providing the support you need. I specialize in evidence-based therapies such as trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), TARGET, Flash Technique, and mindfulness techniques, all tailored to your unique needs. Trauma can manifest in many different ways and at any stage in life, whether it’s through anxiety, depression, flashbacks, conduct disorders or difficulty in relationships. I’m dedicated to supporting clients across the lifespan, from children and adolescents to adults, helping them navigate the emotional and psychological effects of trauma. We will work through the challenges of trauma, including managing triggers and rebuilding self-esteem. Together, we will create a safe space for healing, growth, and empowerment. I will support you in creating a path forward. If you're ready to begin healing, face challenges and work toward a future of resilience and peace, I invite you to schedule a consultation. Together, we can take the first step in your recovery journey. SERVICES LIMITED TO RESIDENTS OF PUERTO RICO.
