As a licensed mental health counselor, I specialize in working with adults who experience chronic emotion dysregulation, often rooted in complex trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, or long-standing patterns of disordered eating. Many of my clients struggle to manage overwhelming emotional states, engage in self-critical or perfectionistic thinking, and feel disconnected from their bodies or sense of self. After graduating from Gonzaga University (2020) with my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I spent five years working in an intensive Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) program. I have foundational training in DBT through Behavioral Tech and further advanced training in DBT, RO-DBT (for disorders of overcontrol), MED-DBT (eating disorders) and DBT-PE (trauma). My approach is integrative and evidence-based, drawing from DBT, CBT, and trauma-informed care. I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship while helping clients develop tools for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and self-compassion—especially around disordered eating, overcontrol and attachment wounds. Healing is not about perfection—it’s about creating safety, increasing awareness, and learning new ways of being. If you're ready to explore what’s driving the patterns beneath the surface and create meaningful change, I’m here to support you.
