Introduction

Thank you for considering Explorations Counseling to begin, or continue, your therapeutic journey. My name is Dustin Gillingham and I am a licensed psychotherapist currently offering mental health therapy services in Clearfield, PA. I obtained my B.S. in Secondary Education from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 2007 and my M.Ed in Secondary School Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2012. During my time at Indiana University, I developed a deeper interest in the human experience and a strong passion for the therapeutic process. At that time, I transitioned my career path from education to pursue the field of psychotherapy. In my professional experience thus far, I have had a profound opportunity to work with amazing and culturally diverse individuals from across the lifespan. My goal is to help others with their process of self-exploration and to gain more understandings on how they experience mental health diagnoses and symptoms, adjust to change, develop and maintain relationships, and cope with life stressors. I uphold confidentiality to the highest regard and provide a safe, non-judgmental environment to promote personal growth and open expressions of self.
