My name is Ebonie Tennison, SUDP, MPA, and I am a Washington State Substance Use Disorder Professional with over five years of experience in behavioral health and substance use treatment. I earned my Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree and bring both clinical expertise and a strong understanding of systems and community resources to the work that I do. My clinical background includes providing comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, individual and group counseling, care coordination, and relapse-prevention services across multiple levels of care, including outpatient, intensive outpatient, residential 3.3/3.5, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) programs. I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including adults, adolescents, individuals with co-occurring mental health needs, and justice-involved individuals in both correctional and community-based settings. I am experienced in supporting clients facing homelessness, trauma histories, and high-risk recovery environments. I use evidence-based approaches such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), trauma-informed care, harm-reduction principles, relapse-prevention strategies, and ASAM-aligned placement and treatment planning. I am committed to providing compassionate, nonjudgmental care and helping clients gain clarity, develop practical goals, and move forward in their recovery with dignity and hope.
