You're the one everyone comes to. At work, at home, in your friend group. You handle it. You perform, you deliver, you hold it together. But something in you is tired. Maybe you're not sure how to name it yet. Maybe you already know: burnout, disconnection, the quiet exhaustion of always being "on." As part of the ARCC team, I offer a culturally responsive space for your journey inward, especially for Black and Brown women who are used to being the strong one. Together, we look at the patterns underneath the performance: people-pleasing, over-functioning, code-switching, the invisible labor of managing everyone else's comfort. My approach is direct but warm. I'm not here to hand you generic coping tips. I want to understand your actual life and your actual pressures, then build something that fits you, at your pace, with your autonomy at the center. Our work might include somatic tools to help you notice what your body already knows, creative expression when words aren't enough, and yes, humor. Healing doesn't have to be heavy all the time. Before clinical work, I spent time in human resources and workplace equity. I've seen firsthand how professional environments shape identity, confidence, and self-worth. That background shapes how I understand your stress, not as a personal failing, but as a response to real systemic weight. If you're ready to stop managing and start actually feeling supported, I'd love to walk that road with you. I practice as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) under the clinical supervision of Oprah Keyes Patterson, LCSW-C, in accordance with Maryland licensure requirements. I am currently accepting new clients who are Maryland residents.
