I see each person, couple, and family as individuals capable of building, healing, and growing. I take a collaborative and directive approach to encouraging you to challenge and overcome the barriers preventing you from living the life you are meant to have. My approach to therapy is collaborative and directive. I work with clients to identify and overcome the obstacles holding them back from living their best lives. I work with individuals, couples, families, and adolescents. My specialties include anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic illness and pain, career and job stress, life transitions, family conflict, divorce, self-esteem, and grief. My goal is to empower you with the self-awareness, coping skills, and resilience needed to navigate life's challenges, heal from emotional pain, improve your relationships, and lead a more fulfilling life aligned with your values and aspirations. I was inspired to pursue a career in mental healthcare after witnessing the positive impact therapy had on the lives of friends and family members struggling with mental health issues. This led me to obtain a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Phoenix. In our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and begin to get to know one another. I will ask about your background, current challenges, and hopes for our work together. This is also an opportunity for you to ask me any questions about my approach and experience.
