Introduction

I'm Edith Cuevas, MS, LPC, and I founded Emmaus Counseling in Buda, Texas out of a deep commitment to service rooted in my faith. My journey began working with children, expanded through school counseling into adolescent care, and naturally evolved to support entire families and individual adults. I'm passionate about meeting people where they are—whether that's a child navigating school challenges, a teenager processing identity questions, parents seeking guidance, or adults working through trauma, grief, or life transitions. I draw from multiple therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family systems work, play therapy, and culturally sensitive practices tailored to each person's unique needs. Because I'm fluent in Spanish, I also offer therapy in Spanish. My faith informs my work, and I'm continually learning to better serve the people I work with. I accept individuals, and families across all ages, and I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions. I'm currently accepting new clients and would welcome the opportunity to support you or your family.
