Introduce yourself to prospective clients. We suggest adding how you got started, any treatment or client specializations, and how your services can provide a meaningful impact to clients. I became a therapist after 10 years of abusing alcohol throughout the 1990's. In the late 1990s, I decided to stop abusing alcohol and commit to a life of recovery. A few years later, I started volunteering as a counselor in a community outreach program and eventually went on to become a licensed mental health therapist and addiction counselor. Over the past 20 years, I’ve helped adults heal from trauma, addiction, OCD, anxiety, depression, and more. Using CBT, mindfulness, and other proven approaches, I offer compassionate support and practical tools. Together, we’ll build coping skills, strengthen resilience, and create lasting change in a safe, respectful space. I believe therapeutic rapport is the most important aspect of therapy. I also believe in and use acceptance, nurturing, and affirmation to guide therapy. Together, we’ll build coping skills, set meaningful goals, and create a safe, supportive, and faith-optional space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered. If you’re ready to begin, I invite you to take the next step. Together, we can walk a path toward resilience, clarity, and lasting life change.
