Introduction

Hello, my name is Edward Del Hierro, and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with clarity, strength, and compassion. I work with adults, adolescents, and families who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation, and major life transitions. I bring a calm, grounded, and supportive presence to therapy. I believe that meaningful change begins with feeling understood and respected. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, drawing from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), crisis-stabilization techniques, and trauma-informed care. I tailor each session to meet clients where they are, while gently helping them move toward their personal goals. I have extensive experience working with individuals facing serious mental health challenges in a wide range of settings, including county jail programs, community mental health clinics, wraparound services for youth and families, and recovery-oriented programs for adults. I have supported clients through suicidal and homicidal ideation, emotional crises, homelessness, incarceration, and severe mental illness. These experiences have shaped my deep respect for resilience and my belief that people are far more than their hardest moments. I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of La Verne. I am a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in California and work under clinical supervision. In addition to my clinical background, I served eight years in the United States Army as a Staff Sergeant, where I supervised soldiers in high-stress environments and provided leadership, counseling, and career development. This experience continues to inform my steady, practical, and compassionate approach to care. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, supported, and empowered to build a healthier, more fulfilling life.
