Introduction

Eileen O’Neil, LCSW is the founder and owner of Renew Therapy, where she works with adults who are ready to feel better, understand themselves more deeply, and make meaningful changes in their lives. Eileen believes therapy should feel like talking to a real person—not sitting across from someone who is simply taking notes and asking, “How does that make you feel?” Her approach is warm, honest, conversational, and collaborative. She brings her authentic self into the therapy room, believes humor has a place in healing, and creates a space where clients can be completely themselves without fear of judgment. Her approach is solution-focused, practical, and individualized. Eileen doesn’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy or telling clients what they should do. Instead, she works alongside each person to understand what’s really going on, identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck, build on what is already working, and find realistic ways forward. Eileen works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, self-esteem, burnout, and major life transitions. She is especially passionate about helping people who may look like they have it all together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck on the inside. Eileen is also EMDR certified and incorporates EMDR when it fits a client’s goals and needs. She helps clients process experiences that continue to affect them in the present while also developing practical tools to navigate life differently moving forward. Eileen also provides clinical supervision for social workers working toward their LCSW. She believes supervision should be a space to build confidence, ask questions, and develop your own authentic style as a therapist. She enjoys walking alongside therapists working toward this goal!
