Taking the first steps towards seeking counseling can be exciting, stressful, overwhelming, or may include a range of thoughts and emotions. Yet, I understand the counseling process to be a journey of hope. It is my desire to come alongside you in this journey. While counseling is most often not a quick fix, I want to create a safe and compassionate environment, so we can explore all aspects of who you are, including behaviors, emotions, thoughts, as well as physical and spiritual wellness. I utilize a personalized, trauma-sensitive, culturally sensitive, and integrated approach to helping people, including through Mindfulness, Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Exposure Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
