Introduction

Seeking counseling services can feel scary and overwhelming but I’m here to assure you that you are not alone. I believe that all each of us really needs is a space to be seen, heard, and accepted for who we truly are. This is the space that I strive to provide for my clients. I am warm, empathetic, and encouraging with a great sense of humor. I believe there are times when humor can bring lightheartedness and relief to an otherwise emotionally burdensome process of self-discovery and healing. As a therapist, I am very conversational and want all my clients to feel like they are able to take an active role in guiding our time together. My approach is ecclectic, drawing from Person Centered, CBT, DBT, ACT, Health at Every Size (HAES), Mindfulness, Self-compassion, and Expressive Arts approaches.
