Hi, I’m Elika Razmjou, a licensed clinical health psychologist offering telehealth psychotherapy to adults in California and New York. I work with thoughtful, high-functioning adults who may appear to be doing well on the outside, but feel anxious, burned out, self-critical, or disconnected on the inside. Many of my clients are navigating high-pressure professional roles, cultural or familial expectations, health-related stress, or major life transitions—and are looking for more than just symptom relief. My background in health psychology shapes a compassionate, mind–body–informed approach to therapy. I integrate evidence-based treatments such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), CBT-informed strategies, and mindfulness-based skills to help clients build self-trust, emotional regulation, and values-aligned lives. While insight is important, our work also focuses on practicing new ways of relating to thoughts, emotions, and discomfort so that meaningful change can take root. I’m also trained as a mindfulness facilitator and yoga teacher, which informs how I help clients develop awareness of their internal experience within a clear psychological framework. Therapy with me is collaborative, grounded, and thoughtful. If you’re feeling stretched thin or stuck, therapy can be a place to pause, reconnect, and move forward with intention.
