My name is Elisabeth Bingham. My pronouns are (she/her). I wanted to go into the field of therapy because I find joy in helping people feel safe enough to be vulnerable in order to become empowered to solve their problems. I’ve observed these triumphs personally and have walked alongside people through their most vulnerable moments. I am comfortable with and have experience working with the following populations: adolescents, adults, and the elderly. I strive to hold space for my clients by using different therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. I tailor these interventions to help my clients meet their goals. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am a proud graduate of UNLV's Master of Social Work program in May of 2022. Working as a mental health technician in a psychiatric hospital and observing the social workers effectively assisting their patients inspired me to pursue my degree in Social Work. I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients in diverse practice settings including outpatient private practice, in-home rehabilitative treatment, and in inpatient psychiatric hospitals. These experiences have allowed me to obtain a unique perspective on mental health treatment which I bring into my sessions to increase effectiveness.
