I enjoy working with children, teens and young adults. I help my clients work through life transitions, struggles with mental health and their diagnoses, worries surrounding school/work, relationship concerns (friends, partners, and family), as well as navigating the day to day struggles that you may face. I also work with clients who have experienced sexual trauma. I help clients explore the “why” behind their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so they can gain insight, acceptance, and the tools to move forward. The hardest step is finding a therapist that is a great fit for you, so congratulations on starting the search! I take a holistic, collaborative approach, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices. I am Somatic Trauma Therapy Certified as well. I also use play-therapy and art-therapy based techniques. I support clients in exploring how physical, emotional, and spiritual health intersect.
