I work with individuals and couples who are seeking more adaptive ways of managing relational and life stressors. My background includes working with teens and adults facing chronic physical and mental health issues, as well as acute crisis management. My training as a marriage and family therapist means that I do not see clients and presenting problems as existing in isolation. Rather, we will consider your relationships when exploring your needs, strengths, and areas for growth. I take a collaborative approach in therapy - you are the expert on your life. We will work together to recognize the context of the issues that are negatively affecting your wellbeing. I will assist you in determining the changes you desire in your life, and the realistic shifts in behaviors and mindset to encourage your preferred state of being. Every life stage brings new challenges. Perhaps you are facing a significant transition, are feeling stuck, burdened by the past, or struggle to utilize healthy communication skills. Whatever the circumstances leading you to seek help, it is a privilege to provide a safe space for you to be vulnerable and to experience healing and growth.
