Eliza graduated from Johnson and Wales University with a Masters of Science Degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2024. She joined AQAL Therapies as an intern to gain the experience required to complete the program and gain her license as an LMHCA while supporting the belief that people should be able to gain access to mental health services at an affordable cost, especially during a time with increasing demand for such services. She is interested in working with those dealing with trauma and anxiety, while being open to working with a wide range of other interests such as couples work, chronic health issues, and grief work. Eliza accepts all insurance and accepts sliding scale payment as she believes that all people should have access to therapy. She will also be working closely with Todd Schmenk, LMHC, a clinician with over 20+ years in health services. He will be supervising her work and reviewing each case in order to ensure the quality and effectiveness that AQAL Therapies services have become known for.
