I'm a psychiatrist with a focus on integrating across the mind, brain, and culture. I've completed MD/ PhD training and psychiatry residency at Stanford with research in neuroscience. I've pursued additional training in psychotherapy, including the two-year Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training Program at the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis and the one-year fellowship through the American Psychoanalytic Association. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and the weight of perfectionism or work stress. I'm also deeply committed to exploring how cultural and systemic oppression shape our inner lives and self-esteem. My approach is grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy and informed by both relational theory and circuit-based biological psychiatry. I believe meaningful change happens in the context of a therapeutic relationship where you are able to feel understood.
