Introduction

Who you are today isn’t accidental. The struggles you are carrying are shaped by your past and current relationships, experiences, and environment. This is exactly where the work begins. I want our space to be a place where every part of who you are gets to show up. My approach to therapy is genuine and collaborative. I want you to show up as your full, authentic self, and I will follow your lead. In our sessions, I’ll be honest with you, even if it’s uncomfortable, and make sure your emotions always have room to breathe. Humor has a place here, too, because therapy doesn’t always have to be so heavy. Starting therapy is no small thing, and I don’t take lightly the trust it takes to let someone know your story. It is truly an honor, and I am fully in your corner. As a Chinese adoptee, I bring a lived experience of identity, belonging, and the complexity of a multicultural experience. Intersectionality is not just a clinical framework for me; it is personal. I will not shy away from hard conversations about culture, race, or identity, and I am committed to making sure all of who you are is welcomed in our time together.
