I am proud of you for taking the next step toward getting help with this messy thing called life! Our life journeys can be extremely challenging to navigate, so finding someone to trust with our most vulnerable experiences can feel intimidating. As a wife and mother of 6 children (one of whom is in heaven), I have spent significant time learning how to put my oxygen mask on first so that I can help others understand their own anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationship challenges. I would be honored to support you in your journey, approaching the elusive balance of emotional, somatic, mental, social, and spiritual growth. I received my bachelor's degree in Marriage, Family, and Human Development in 2007, and my early career led me to work with individuals in medical settings. Over time, my own life experiences have helped me discover my passion for helping others find joy and purpose in their lives and meaningful connections in their relationships. With a clinically focused Master of Social Work degree, I offer my clients a warm, collaborative, person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach. Depending on each client’s needs, I draw from a variety of evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and others.
