Introduction

School, work, family changes, grief, or another major transition can leave you feeling overwhelmed and unsure how to move forward. At Leek Therapy, I work with teenagers and adults navigating stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, school or career pressures, family conflict, and significant changes in their lives. Before becoming a therapist, I spent decades working as a school adjustment counselor, administrator, and high-school principal. This experience helps me understand the pressures facing students, families, educators, and adults trying to balance competing responsibilities. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Choice Theory, mindfulness, compassion-focused practices, and Compassionate Systems Thinking. Together, we can examine how your thoughts, relationships, culture, and wider environment influence how you feel and respond. I offer a compassionate, honest, and practical space where you can better understand patterns that may be holding you back, strengthen useful coping strategies, and make changes that feel aligned with your values. I provide in-person therapy at Leek Therapy’s West Yarmouth office and secure telehealth throughout Massachusetts. Morning and daytime appointments are available, and I am currently accepting new clients.
