Introduction

I specialize in supporting children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, grief and loss, depression, trauma, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I work with clients who may feel overwhelmed by their emotions, disconnected from themselves, or unsure of how to move forward after difficult experiences or significant changes in their lives. With children and teens, I use play-based, strengths-based, and Solution-Focused approaches to create opportunities for expression, connection, and growth. Sessions may explore experiences related to anxiety, grief, self-esteem, friendships, school, family changes, and other challenges that can be difficult for younger clients to process on their own. With adults, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and trauma-focused approaches to explore the connection between past experiences and present patterns. Our work may involve understanding different parts of yourself, challenging beliefs that no longer serve you, processing difficult experiences, and developing a more compassionate relationship with yourself. Grief and life transitions are also an important part of my work. Grief is not limited to losing someone we love. We can grieve relationships, friendships, family changes, missed opportunities, previous versions of ourselves, or the future we thought we would have. Similarly, transitions such as graduating, beginning college, moving, starting a career, changing relationships, or entering a new stage of life can bring complicated emotions even when the change itself is positive. My approach is warm, reflective, trauma-informed, and collaborative. I believe therapy can be a place to understand not only what you are feeling, but also what may be underneath it. We can balance deeper exploration with practical support, allowing you to process what you have experienced while developing new ways of moving forward.
