Introduction

Liz provides both mental health treatment and/or academic interventions children and teens, helping improve their quality of life and trajectory across the lifespan. She specializes in supporting children with ADHD, ASD, learning challenges, anxiety, depression and challenging behaviors. Liz takes a strengths-based approach to case conceptualization, integrating play and evidence based practices into sessions with children. She also provides support and coaching for parents, collaborating with them regularly. Liz utilizes DBT, CBT, PCIT, ERP, and PMT approaches and is currently working towards Linehan Board Certification. Her training sites included the Autism Clinic at Seattle Children's Hospital and at the Brave Seattle private practice clinic under the supervision of Dr. Tracey Ward. Liz is the former director of learning services at Bertschi School, worked as an ADHD coach at the Hallowell Todaro Center for ADHD, and taught elementary school in public and independent schools. She also served on the Board of Directors for Postpartum Support International of Washington State, leading the warm line for new parents in crisis. As an LMHCA , Liz practiced under the supervision of Steven Behling, PhD, ABPP for CBT, ERP, PMT and PCIT cases and Haley Moutier, LMHC for DBT cases. Dr. Behling is a licensed psychologist in the State of Washington (PSYC.PY.60232031) and is a Board Certified Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychologist through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). Haley Moutier is a licensed mental health counselor (LH61125912) and DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified DBT Clinician.
