Introduction

Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or constantly “on edge” can make everyday life feel difficult. Many of the children, adolescents, and adults I work with have been trying to manage anxiety, ADHD, depression, mood changes, behavioral concerns, stress, or trauma-related symptoms on their own while balancing the demands of school, work, family, and daily life. I'm Elizabeth, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), and I provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults using a collaborative, evidence-based, and individualized approach to care. I believe effective treatment begins with taking the time to truly listen, understand symptoms in context, and develop a plan that feels realistic and supportive for each patient's unique needs and goals. My practice focuses on thoughtful medication management while considering overall functioning, lifestyle factors, sleep, family dynamics, and school or work-related stressors. Appointments may also incorporate supportive psychotherapy techniques, education, and practical coping strategies when appropriate. I want patients to feel comfortable asking questions, understand their treatment options, and feel actively involved in decisions about their care. I genuinely enjoy working with both pediatric and adult populations and value building strong, respectful relationships with patients and families over time. I offer both in-person and telehealth appointments to provide flexible, accessible care. Whether you're seeking psychiatric care for yourself or your child, my goal is to help you feel supported, gain a clearer understanding of your symptoms, and make meaningful progress toward improved emotional wellness and day-to-day functioning.
