Introduction

My name is Elizabeth (Beth) Scott. I have been a mental health counselor for over 11 years. Life has challenging times for us all. My passion is to create a nonjudgmental space in which you are able to find hope, healing, and peace. When you are working with me, you will find an approach that will help you identify your strengths, use self-compassion, gain skills, and heal. If you are looking for a specific approach, I am trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Therapy will be tailored to meet your individual needs and comfortability. I enjoy working with older adolescents and adults. If you are looking for assistance in addressing depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, PTSD, life transitions, stress and mood management, coping skills, self-esteem, sleep issues, or relationship difficulties, I specialize in these areas and more. Call me today and we can discuss your individual goals, how therapy can help, and if I may be a good fit for you or your child. I am a approved supervisor in the state of Iowa. I offer consultation and supervision for mental health therapists (provisional and fully licensed). Please call me for a free phone consultation to discuss your needs, personal goals, and how I can assist you in meeting them. I look forward to talking with you!
