Welcome! I hope to share here a little about me and my practice. I have worked in the field of social work for over 20 years, helping people in different settings and at different stages of life. I’ve supported new parents, young families, young adults, adults in a variety of careers, and older adults. In therapy, I use a variety of tools to support our work through challenges. This may include conversations about what it was like growing up and how that impacted you and your relationships, learning mindfulness and grounding exercises to calm the nervous system, or EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to work through trauma. I bring my empathic sensitivity to help bring resolution to the issues that are getting in your way of a full life. This might sound like a lot, but my approach is to start by listening to you and working through the difficult parts gently, and we will work together towards lasting change.
