My Approach I love to incorporate DBT primarily, while bringing CBT, ACT and attachment principles into therapy. Some of my core values are authenticity, courage, and connection and I love working with clients to overcome barriers that keep them from living more fulfilling lives. I enjoy working with queer, neurodiverse, and POC clients who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and/or substance use, and who are wishing to learn more effective ways to cope. I center my practice around each individual client, accommodating for different processing/learning styles and working towards what is most important to the client. I also try to stay curious about each client’s lived experiences, and am open to learning and changing my style as therapy progresses. My experience being queer, mixed race, and neurodivergent affect how I move throughout the world, and I recognize how this is true for everyone’s intersecting identities. I hope to honor all of people's parts and love exploring how all of our life experiences interact and influence our behavior.
