I am a second generation Filipina-American cisgender woman (she/her). As a social worker and therapist, I have a decade's worth of experience in early childhood mental health, adolescent mental health, trauma-informed therapy, and family therapy. I have worked in various multidisciplinary settings including: non-profits, the child welfare system, public schools (K-12 and higher education), and healthcare systems. Prior to entering the mental health field, I worked in education, youth development, and community organizing. I utilize an integrated, relational approach to therapy. I draw from my training in trauma-informed care, structural family therapy, child-parent psychotherapy (CPP), attachment theory, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. Due to my own background, I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals and multigenerational families hailing from immigrant backgrounds, blended/non-traditional families, and young BIPOC professionals. In my private practice, I offer depth-oriented psychotherapy, integrating multiple interventions and modalities. I am committed to helping individuals and families find healing and strength to navigate the ups and downs of life. My own experiences and identity inform my ability to hold a gentle, non-judgmental, and open space for you and your loved ones.
