"Hi! I’m Ellen Baker, LMSW. I am passionate about helping individuals recognize their strengths, navigate challenges, and create meaningful change. While I welcome clients across the lifespan, I have a particular interest in working with adolescents, young adults, and adults experiencing life transitions, neurodivergence, emotional or behavioral challenges, substance use concerns, and co-occurring mental health needs. My approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I recognize that family, relationships, culture, environment, and life experiences can all influence mental health and well-being. Because therapy is not one-size-fits-all, I tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals, incorporating approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing. With a background in behavioral health and recovery-oriented services, as well as experience as a Certified Peer Support Specialist, I bring additional insight into substance use, recovery, and co-occurring concerns. My goal is to provide a genuine, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to move forward...one step at a time."
