Hello, I'm Elouise! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) providing in-person and telehealth therapy to children, teens, and adults with eating disorders and disordered eating, including ARFID. My core values as a therapist and as a human are curiosity, collaboration, and willingness. My clients have described me as: validating, creative, warm, a hard-ass but in a good way, pretty funny (sometimes). I am direct and honest with my clients; living with an eating disorder is exhausting, challenging, and seemingly never-ending, and this helps us work together to move towards a values-driven life. I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in my practice, in addition to Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I offer family-based treatment (FBT) for teens 13 and under. Additionally, I provide CBT-ARFID treatment for individuals of all ages with ARFID. I have worked in eating disorder treatment in all levels of care since 2020. In addition to individual and family work, I also provide education and training in eating disorder prevention, assessment, and treatment to professionals in North and South Carolina. *Please note I am pending in-network status with Aetna and BCBS of NC/SC.
