Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when you have spent a long time holding things together, questioning your own needs, or trying to make sense of the changes within your body and mind. Hi, my name is E’lycia Larry-Lewis, and I am a counselor intern at the Dallas Therapy Center under the supervision of Dr. Armstrong. I strive to create a space where you can be fully yourself without feeling judged or pressured to have everything figured out. I am drawn to working with people navigating relationship trauma, difficult family or relational patterns, identity development, grief, boundary-setting, and major life transitions. Together, we can explore the patterns shaping you and better recognize what may no longer serve you moving forward. My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in respect for your autonomy. Therapy with me will center on reconnecting with yourself and creating a healthier life. You do not have to arrive with the perfect words or a clear idea of where to begin. We can start right where you are.
