Introduction

I'm Em Scott, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist offering in-person sessions in Los Feliz, Los Angeles and telehealth sessions in California. I help clients understand patterns and build skills to empower themselves. I specialize in anxiety, complex PTSD, family dynamics, and betrayal trauma. With individuals, I use DBT, Brainspotting, and attachment-based approaches to help my clients process intense emotions. With couples, I use the Gottman Method to improve communication, repair conflict, and heal from infidelity. My style is direct, down-to-earth, and non-judgmental. Therapy with me is conversational and human. I bring humor to the room when appropriate. If you’re unsure where to start, that’s okay. You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin. We’ll figure it out together.
