I'm Emalee. I am a therapist that believes in accepting you as you are, showing up authentically and offering a non-judgmental, compassionate, empathetic approach. I would be honored to be allowed the opportunity to get to know you. I believe that your life is your own story to write, and you get to decide what comes next. It is important that clients feel safe in my office, whether virtually or in person. Together, we’ll explore what shaped you and bring forward the parts of yourself you learned to hide. We'll go at a pace that feels safe and won't push you to move on before you're ready. We'll get curious, make room for your voice, and sort through old beliefs and patterns so you can notice what feels true now and what you want for your life going forward. I specialize in treating PTSD, codependency, anxiety, depression, grief, religious trauma, divorce, self-esteem, stress, and life transitions. I am trained in attachment and somatic-based EMDR, and along with that, I offer an integrative and interpersonal approach to offer holistic care to each person. I received my Master of Arts in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary, and while I do have specific training in integrating spirituality in the counseling process, I enjoy seeing people of all faith backgrounds as well as non-religious folks. I am currently licensed as an LPC. I work with teens 14+ and adults.
