Introduction

Welcome! My name is Emily Altobelli and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA). I offer LGBTQIA+ affirming counseling for anyone experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, low self-esteem, life transitions, or relationship challenges. Life can feel heavy or confusing sometimes. In our work together, we talk honestly about what’s going on. We look at patterns that are keeping you stuck, question the thoughts that make things harder, and build coping skills that fit your life. My practice is tailored to you, your lived experiences, and the pace that feels right for your nervous system. Our work honors where you’ve been and what you carry, creating care that feels attuned, respectful, and supportive. If you’re looking for a safe space to slow down, reflect, and build coping skills that actually fit your life, I’d love to help. I often use a somatic therapy lens which focuses on the mind–body connection, helping you notice how stress and emotions live in the body. Through gentle awareness, we can support emotional regulation, grounding, and create relief.
