Introduction

Hi! I’m Emily Ann Peterson (she/her), a pre-licensed clinical mental health counselor practicing under supervision. I love working with folks navigating burnout, religious trauma, identity/career shifts, and recovery from high-control or cultic systems. I'm queer and neurodivergent, and I naturally offer a neuroaffirming, body-liberating, and anti-perfectionist space for clients who are feeling overwhelmed, over-functioning, and on the edge of “what’s the point?” My style is warm, collaborative, and practical. I integrate ACT, parts work (IFS-informed), and attachment-based approaches through a person-centered, ecofeminist, and intersectional lens. Sessions often include humor, metaphor, tasteful swearing (when appropriate), and creative modalities like music, visual art, or poetry. I offer session to anyone located in the state of Washington. I also have an MBA and bring a background in trauma-informed coaching and business consulting.
