Dr. Emily Armstrong is a licensed psychologist who specializes in the assessment of children from early childhood through adolescence. She takes a warm, collaborative approach and a deep commitment to helping families understand their child's unique strengths and needs. Dr. Armstrong provides thoughtful, individualized evaluations that create a child-centered and supportive testing experience. She takes time to ensure families understand the results and feel supported moving forward. She earned her doctorate in School Psychology from Texas Woman’s University, completed her internship with the Lewisville Independent School District, and a postdoctoral fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center’s TRIAD: The Autism Institute. Her research interests include innovative approaches to autism assessment in young children, including tele-assessment. She is excited to partner with children and their families to better understand each child’s unique strengths and needs and to help them move forward with clarity and confidence. Dr. Armstrong offers one day autism assessments for children four and younger. She is available for scheduling within 2 weeks.
