Introduction

I'm Emily Bergum, a Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to creating a warm, inclusive space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered. With a background in education and a deep interest in identity, relationships, and how we make meaning of our experiences, I work with children (8+), teens, young adults, couples, and families as they navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship dynamics. I’m passionate about supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and approach therapy through a compassionate, trauma-informed lens. My work is grounded in collaboration and curiosity, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, family systems, individual strengths, CBT, systems theory, and interpersonal neurobiology to help clients deepen self-understanding, foster healthier connections, and move toward growth and healing.
