Hi, I’m Emily Chin, and I’m here to support you in navigating life’s challenges with greater clarity, self-understanding, and confidence. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, supported, and able to explore what’s going on beneath the surface at your own pace. I work with individuals facing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, substance use, and life transitions. I also have experience supporting young adults who feel “stuck” or uncertain about their next steps, helping them build direction and momentum in their lives. My approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and creating a safe, nonjudgmental space. I take the time to understand your unique experiences and tailor our work together in a way that feels both supportive and effective. My background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Dance and Human Development from Connecticut College and a Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Southern California. This foundation has shaped my understanding of how closely connected our emotional and physical experiences can be. In our work together, I incorporate both traditional talk therapy and, when helpful, body-based and psychosomatic approaches. This can include building awareness of how stress and emotions show up physically, and using that insight to support deeper healing, self-awareness, and overall well-being. Clients often describe my style as warm, grounded, and approachable. Together, we can: • Build practical tools to manage anxiety, stress, and mood • Develop insight into patterns that may be holding you back • Navigate relationships and life transitions with greater confidence • Strengthen your connection to yourself, both emotionally and physically
