Introduction

Many of the couples I work with are successful, thoughtful, and deeply invested in their relationships, but still find themselves stuck in patterns they can’t seem to shift. The same arguments keep coming up, conversations escalate or shut down, and emotional connection starts to feel harder to access. Sometimes it’s the stress of work, parenting, finances, or a major life transition. Sometimes it’s infidelity, intimacy concerns, or simply realizing that you’ve started to feel more like roommates than partners. I specialize in couples therapy and use the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help couples slow things down, understand their patterns, and practice new ways of responding to one another. My approach is active, collaborative, and direct. We’re not just talking about the relationship; we’re working to change how it actually feels. I also work with individuals navigating relationship stress, including when a partner isn’t ready for couples therapy, as well as clients struggling with disordered eating and body image concerns. I bring a relational, weight-inclusive approach to this work. As an LMFT, AAMFT Approved Supervisor, and educator who teaches and supervises future marriage and family therapists, I bring both clinical experience and a strong systemic perspective to my work. If you’re ready to understand what’s keeping you stuck and start doing something different, I’d be happy to connect. Reach out and schedule a consultation today.
