Introduction

I offer somatic therapy for individuals seeking support with anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and emotional overwhelm. My approach is holistic, body-based, and nervous-system-informed. I invite you to slow down, tune in, reconnect with yourself and others, and feel safer in both your body and mind. We will move beyond talk therapy and instead deepen into your felt sense to explore sensations, patterns, and your lived experience. Somatic therapy addresses the root cause of emotional distress, allowing you to experience more groundedness, resilience, fulfillment, and being at home within yourself. I use an integrative approach including several different evidence-based modalities. In our work together, we will move away from intellectualizing and towards your felt experience, deepening your mind-body-spirit connection. I walk alongside you towards an embodied state to build self-awareness, increase resilience, and ultimately foster healing and growth for your whole self. I often incorporate somatic practices, such as grounding, breathwork, and mindfulness. My training is in Somatic Therapy. I have advanced training in Somatic Practices and Trauma-informed care. I have received additional training in Mindfulness, Attachment, and Parts Work. I have also trained with The Hakomi Institute and incorporate Hakomi principles into my work, and am a certified trauma therapist. I completed a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University Seattle in 2023, and completed dual undergraduate degrees from Western Washington University in both Psychology and Studio Arts in 2018. Perhaps the most important facet of therapy is the relationship between the therapist and client. I provide a shame-free, non-judgmental container to facilitate your growth. I offer an innate and intuitive understanding of the multifaceted nature of our emotional life. Whatever your "why now" reason for beginning therapy is, I would be honored to work with you. If you would like to see if we might be a good fit, please reach out for a free consultation.
