Introduction

Welcome, I'm Emily I believe that deep, sustaining change begins when we meet our stuck patterns and overwhelming emotions with curiosity and compassion rather than judgment. My path to becoming a counselor was born out of a profound respect for the human spirit and the power of relational healing. I am dedicated to helping individuals and couples move through periods of distress and disconnection, guiding them toward a life of wholeness, resilience, and genuine connection. Areas of Focus & Specialization I focus my practice on supporting adults and couples facing barriers to emotional wellbeing, life satisfaction, or connection—whether that connection is within themselves, between each other, or to a greater sense of purpose. My areas of expertise include: Relationship Challenges & Repair: Marital and premarital counseling, breaking stuck cycles, and rebuilding attachment. The Motherhood Journey & Parenting: Navigating fertility, maternal mental health, and family conflict. Healing Inner Distress: Processing anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. Spiritual Development: Navigating crises of meaning, purpose, and connection to the greater mystery. How We Will Work Together In our sessions, we will use experiential and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) techniques alongside Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed parts work and Mindful Self-Compassion. Rather than just talking about your challenges, we will work actively and mindfully to enter into relationship with your fears and vulnerable parts. I hold an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Xavier University, alongside specialized training in Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy and collaborative care in women’s health. My diverse earlier background in corporate marketing and business management enriches my practice, allowing me to bring a grounded, real-world perspective to our collaborative therapeutic journey. Together, we will encounter what you need to move toward healing.
