Emily works with children ages 8+, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, and LGBTQ+ concerns. With extensive experience in school settings, she especially understands the challenges children and teens can face with academic stress, behavior, emotions, and the pressures they experience both at school and at home. Emily brings creativity, warmth, and a nonjudgmental approach to therapy, incorporating Art Therapy, CBT, DBT, play, and problem-solving based on each client’s individual needs. She helps clients better understand and express their emotions, develop healthy coping skills, build confidence and self-acceptance, and feel more equipped to navigate life’s challenges.
