I’m Emily Tyson, a licensed clinician in Connecticut offering Telehealth therapy for individuals and couples. I work with people navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, questions around gender and sexual identity, and periods of feeling stuck or overwhelmed. I believe therapy works best when it is honest, collaborative, and grounded in real life, not when people feel pressure to perform, explain themselves perfectly, or be “ready” before they begin. Healing is not linear, and people are not problems to be fixed. In our work together, I focus on creating a space that feels steady, respectful, and safe enough to talk about the things that are often hard to say out loud. My approach is evidence-based, thoughtful, and nonjudgmental, with a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship and working at your pace.
