Hi, I'm Emily. I work with adults navigating sudden or traumatic losses, including the death of a child, suicide, homicide, or fatal addiction, as well as non-death loss, disability, and end-of-life transitions. Grief and trauma rarely follow neat timelines, and clients often come to me feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or pressured to "move on." I offer a grounded space to process the losses society turns away from. I won't walk on eggshells, treat you with pity, or give patronizing advice. I'm just here to be a real human with you through all of it, the heavy stuff, the brutal days, or the needed humor. I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), Grief Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care to help you process loss safely. My approach focuses on your story as well as how grief lives in your body and nervous system. Together, we move at your pace to find ways to carry your experience that feel grounded and possible. You don't have to fake handling this better than you are. We’ll make room for the darkest realities, including suicidal thoughts, dissociation, and deep longing. Together, we work to integrate the loss into your life, making space to eventually embrace joy and connection again. Reach out for a free consultation to see if we’d be a good fit.
