Past experiences can continue to shape how you see yourself, respond to stress, and connect with other people, even when you understand intellectually that you want something to change. At Leek Therapy, I work with young adults and adults navigating trauma and PTSD, anxiety, relationship difficulties, self-esteem concerns, identity exploration, depression, and major life transitions. My approach is collaborative, person-centered, and relational. I draw from psychodynamic, attachment-based, relational-cultural, cognitive behavioral, and trauma-focused approaches to help you understand both what you are experiencing now and the patterns or earlier experiences that may be contributing to it. Depending on your needs, our work may include developing practical coping and emotional-regulation skills, exploring relationship patterns, and strengthening self-compassion. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is one of the most important foundations for meaningful change. I aim to provide a culturally responsive, LGBTQIA+-affirming, and nonjudgmental space where every part of your identity is respected and where you feel safe enough to be honest. Together, we can build on your existing strengths and help you move toward healthier relationships, greater insight, and changes that feel meaningful to you. I offer in-person therapy at Leek Therapy’s Boston office and secure telehealth throughout Massachusetts and am currently accepting new clients.
